This tasty cocktail is refreshing and a breeze to throw together.
In a large saucepan place sugar, lemon juice, light corn syrup, lemon zest, smashed blueberries and 3 cups of the water. On low fire bring contents to a boil for 45 minutes. Remove from heat and let it stand for 5 minutes.
Place the remaining water into a large pitcher with 3 cups of ice. Strain heated content into the iced water and discard the pulp of fruit.
Let your lemonade chill for about 1 hours.
Add 2 ounces of vodka and serve over ice and garnished with a slice of lemon and fresh mint. Enjoy!
