Recently I have been on a quest to find my niche. I am a mother first and foremost, but my two oldest children are in school and my youngest is pretty independent so I have a ton of free time throughout the day and was looking to start a blog. I have been checking out a few sites and would really like to know everyone opinions on which sites are better.
I'm not realy sure if id like it to be a mommy blog, beauty blog, personal blog, family blog, toy blog, food blog, or just an all in one. I am totally open to suggestions from any and everyone. Please let me know. These are the ones that I have reviewed so far. If you have any more websites please comment here so that I can check them out.
Blogger.com-----Perhaps the most well known platform, it is super safe and reliable because its backed by Google. Also the set up is super simple because there are step by step instructions. Also tons of customizations and you can purchase templates from outside websites!
Medium.com-----Founded in 2012, this platform has more of a story-telling feel.
Penzu.com-----This one is loved because of its versatility, there are three types of writings you can start and you can always try this one before you join!
Svbtle.com-----This one is super easy looking and modern, kinda gives the feels like it is a doodle pad.
Tumblr.com-----This one is the best when it comes to visuals, by far so many options. Also people can "reblog" what you post.
Webs.com-----This is probably one of the most professional looking, perhaps for trying to sell a product.
Weebly.com-----This ones kind of has a teenage vibe...hmmm?
Everyone of these seem like they could be a very great option for me, because for sooo long journaling has been my whole life so why not start a blog? However, I am not certain as to which route I am trying to take. Any help is really wanted.
Speaking of journaling, I believe that its something every person should do, to reflect on your life days or many many years ago is truly something to see. Especially if (god forbid) something were ever to happen to you, your children could look back or read back to what you loved to do..places you liked to go. Certain foods that were your favorites at certain times. Journaling is just a great inexpensive hobby. This journal happens to be a favorite of mine check it out.
Also buy yourself a blank notebook as a journal, whatever you are more comfortable with.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE---comment about the blogging I am totally serious about this and need your insight. Any and all is welcomed and truly appreciated.
