This recipe has been used for many years in my family and will be used again next week. I serve it with pork roast, turkey, duck and often with my baked hams.
12 oz frozen cranberries
Fresh squeezed juice of 1 orange
1 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
Combine all ingredients into sauce pan. Cook for 8 minutes on medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low for 15 minutes stirring and smashing 1/4 of the cranberries as you are stirring. Remove from heat. Set until room temperature.
Chill before serving.
Serve with your favorite turkey, ham, duck or pork dish and your lovely family and friends.
