I just logged onto Yahoo and the main topic was super lice that is resistant to medicinal shampoos. I stopped using medicated shampoos years ago due to all the chemicals found in them. I looked everywhere for an alternative. I even tried using homemade remedies. Unfortunately, most didn't work as well as the medicated shampoos.
I found the Robi Comb at my local Walgreens. I loved it the very first time I used it. I had the opportunity to use it just days after I bought it. There was a note sent home from my daughter's school stating there was a lice outbreak.
I took my daughter outside (I wasn't going to risk one of those bugs jumping off of her head!) and started by brushing her hair (the Robi Comb) will snag if you skip this step. Then I simply combed through each section of hair. When the comb "bristles" come into contact with egg or lice bug it zaps them. The Robi comb doesn't hurt at all, you can touch the teeth of the comb and feel nothing. It only kills the bugs and nits (eggs). I was able to check my hair by myself easily, too.
With the Robi comb not only do you avoid harsh chemicals but you also avoid having to let the shampoo sit and the task of having to wash it out after. Plus you can use this over and over (more cash in your pocket!).
No more pesky little buggers or chemicals!
