With 2 older children when pregnant with my third I swore I had it all figured out, boy oh boy was I wrong. The two older children could take any bottle and make it work. After my youngest was born I decided to breastfeed..i was going to do ANY and EVERYTHING to make that happen. Again, I was wrong. After trying and having a very fussy baby for 3 weeks I decided I would pump what I could and feed her through the bottle :( . All the while still attempting to nurse her multiple times a day, hoping. Even after switching to bottles she was still fussy and not eating enough. After multiple trips to Children's Hospital we found that she wasn't latching AT ALL so each time she attempted to nurse she wouldn't get enough milk to make a difference and when trying to drink a bottle she was getting more air than milk, making for one fussy child and one frustrated mommy. Finally the doctor at children introduced me to Dr. Brown's bottles! Within a day maybe two my daughter was soooo happy and didn't cry a bit. Although she still wasn't latching the air flow filter inside the bottle kept her from getting a drop of air. They come in a variety of colors and sizes. Tools and a bag are also included for proper cleaning. Anyone with gassy babies and babies with belly issues, even latching issues should try these bottles. Happy baby=Happy Mommy.
