A little about me! I had my first beautiful daughter 11 years ago and went right back to work full time 4 weeks after delivering her. Between working full time at a Doctors office, where you had to be more conservative and then a full time single mother, it is sad to say that my make-up routine kind of went non-existent.
I was still working full time when I found out I was expecting baby #2 7.5 years later. So quite recently I decided that it is time to put some more time and effort into ME instead of everyone else!
Now I haven't quite ventured out to high end quality make up, that costs more than a 6 month income for a tube of lipstick, but I have found some Make-up Must haves that are pretty affordable and would like to share some with all of you today!
So kind of another "whats in my bag" post :)
I do like a more bronze look, I always have, so these E.L.F. eye shadows are perfect for achieving that bronze look to you eyes!
I love this mascara. It creates such a nice look to my lashes, long an plush and full. I have tried some fibers mascara and haven't really caught on to the technique of applying just yet, but Maybelline is a great mascara to have in your collection
another favorite mascara that creates great length and fullness to my lashes!
This is a great lipstick, really moisturizing and hydrating. it is great for a daytime lipstick as it blends in nicely with anyone's lips to create a great day time look, but also carries you into night time with a more bold color!
Bare Minerals is my go-to for foundation. it is really light and feels amazing on my skin. it is not heavy or caky so it wont settle into wrinkles. it just gives you that amazing natural look. there is nothing cute about looking too fake, in my opinion.
I have a ton of these lipsticks floating around, they are so inexpensive that there is no reason not to have some for back up, or if you are not wanting to put on your more expensive lipsticks
This is one of my favorite face primers. I generally don't use one a lot, because with my bare minerals, I feel like that provides enough coverage and primer all together. but this is my go-to when I need to use some extra primer.
Hope you all enjoyed some of my go-to make up favorites! what are some of yours? I would love to hear about them in the comments below!
