Here’s a great video by Dr. Josh Axe, on natural ways to reduce or reverse hair loss for men and women. Let’s face it, thinning hair is a big part genetic, and another chunk hormonal. We’re focusing on the hormonal part here, and Dr. Axe believes there is an opportunity to reduce or reverse hair loss by taking the appropriate steps to change your lifestyle (nutrition and exercise).

Josh outlines six major, and another handful of minor steps you can take towards helping your body towards reducing or reversing thinning hair. Honestly, the holistic benefits of embracing these recommendations will go well beyond helping with hair loss, they’ll contribute towards helping your body perform better in general.

As an asside, DR Axe talks about things that increased Human Growth Hormone, and Progesterone as being helpful:

   a) Human Growth Hormone is helped by getting good sleep, high intensity training, and eating quality protein with a balanced mix of amino acids. Also consider GABA, glutamine and vitamin D supplementation.

   b)  Progesterone is not something that is easily supplemented directly. Things that help hormones generally are good for ensuring your progesterone levels are decent.

   iv) Zinc

   v) Vitamin E

Reduce Coffee and alcohol.

Here’s a good article:
