Being a truckers wife is a very hard and stressful job!
It takes a strong, independent, understanding women to be a trucker's wife and to support her husband wholeheartedly!
My husband leaves on Sunday early morning and some weekends Saturday night depending on the distance he is going. With him being gone a week at a time it leaves everything up to me. From paying the bills to fixing and repairing what ever needs to be fixed or finding someone to fix it if I can not. Not just running the household business and repairs but, when or if my husband breaks down I have to be there to help him find a repair shop or tow company plus hotel room. I am also left with the responsibilities of raising our kids and being there and raising them in a world that constantly demands an increase in effectiveness to raise them successfully.
The kids and I do what we need to do during the week so when our dad/husband gets home on Friday night it is family time for 2 days and no cleaning or repairs for him to worry about. We just do his laundry and clean his truck so it is ready to go for the next week.
