We all know Kate Spade designs swoon-worthy fashion essentials (have you seen her handbags?!) but now the designer is bringing the chic to your kitchen. That's right, in the fall of 2015 Kate Spade announced their plan to expand their "gold touch" to furniture and decor. The result? Magic.
I know what you're thinking: "but can I afford it?" Surprisingly, yes. Don't get me wrong, there are still those high priced items that are a bit untouchable (at least for my budget) but many of the kitchen staples are actually affordable. At they very least they are in the splurge-friendly category.
Here are a few of my favorites.
I'm going to start with kitchen essentials I actually own so that I can vouch for their awesomeness. Both of these cutting boards can be found in our kitchen. Trust me, the product photos don't do these lovelies justice. The tones found in the acacia grain are stunning and the boards are super sturdy. Plus, I scored mine on sale at Nordstrom for under $30. Woot!
These are by far one of my favorite products found in our kitchen. They combine the preppy, fun design Kate Spade is known for with the timeless elegance of Lenox. The matching red wine glasses are currently on my wish list.
Now let's talk about what you should go buy, immediately. This three piece kitchen mitt set for example.
And these coasters. Aren't they fantastic?! PS: they'll look great with your new cutting boards.
Baking becomes a stylish even when cooked in one of these fabulous pans.
Since you're stuck with the baking, you might as well look good while doing it. Check out this chic apron.
Witty, handy, and heat resistant these oven mitts are a must-have in every preppy girl's kitchen.
The truth is, I could wax poetic about Kate Spade kitchen essentials all day long but you'd probably rather save time and shop the collection yourself.
Happy shopping!
very neat
