I have been slowly testing gluten-free flour over the last several years and have come across some great recipes to test out while exploring some great products, like this Gluten-Free Honey Cake recipe from Pereg Natural Foods.
This honey cake is moist and delicious, not to mention the fact that it's gluten-free so anyone can indulge. This recipe is made with Banana Flour AND Almond Flour.
1 cup white sugar
1 cup honey
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons grated orange zest
1 cup orange juice
1 cup Pereg Natural Foods Gluten Free Almond Flour
1.5 c Pereg Gluten Free Banana flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, honey, oil, eggs and orange zest.
Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the orange juice, mixing just until incorporated.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Allow to cool before enjoying!
