After seeing a collection recently from Cristy with fall wreaths to adorn your front door with, I was inspired to create my very own. I'm not the DIY type, but I figure, it's never too late to start.
Where does one even begin if you're not crafty at all (like me)? A quick search online gave me some great ideas and inspiration, and when I found a tutorial for a lemon citrus wreath, I thought this was perfect considering we have a lemon tree growing in our yard.
When life hands you lemons, there's quite a bit you can do with them besides slice them and add them to a recipe.
Here's how you can create your very own citrus wreath with a few products from Michael's or your favorite craft store.
Start by cutting your olive branches into 6” sprigs. Place sprigs into your wreath and complete all the way around. Add as many as you need.
Cut the floral wire 10” in length. Poke the wire through the lemons, leaving an even amount of wire on each side.
Add your lemons to your wreath and bring the floral wire around the back. Twist to secure in place.
Hang on the front door, hang in the kitchen, or anywhere else you prefer to see and smell this citrus wreath.
Of course, you can always buy your own. Take a look at this list Cristy put together with pretty fall wreaths to decorate your home.
