Its the time of the year, back to school shopping. For some parents it can get expensive. I'm going to give you some tips on how to save money.
First tip is coupons. You can find coupons for ink pens, crayons, and markers. Some schools you also have to send tissues, paper towels, and baggies. You can also find coupons for these items too.
Next is looking at sales ads. . Most stores will start having school items on sale this week. If you have a Office Depot or Office Max they also have good ads. A lot of time you can get pens and crayons at a quarter. They also have seem deals like buy one item get one for a penny. Another good one is Dollar General. Last year I got crayons for 15 cents, and loose leaf notebook paper for 50 cents a pack. Walgreens also has good ads.
Another good tip is clearance items. You can get cheap clothes and shoes right now. I also found clearance backpacks and some clearance school supplies at my local Walmart.
One more tip, stock up. If you find good deals buy extra items. Some that I buy extra of is folders, pens, pencils, notebooks, and loose leaf paper. That way if your kids need more during the school year, you already have it, and don't have to spend full price for it.
Hopefully these tips help you save some money.
