If you've ever driven in a car run by Lyft or Uber than you probably have some ideas about what each and every driver should make sure they have in their vehicle.
Recently, I applied to become a driver for Lyft so I have been trying to think of what items I need to supply my clients in order to make the ride more comfortable for them and to have in case of those random emergencies that just happen. here are my top picks.
There are plenty of reasons to have Kleenex on hand. Buying in bulk is definitely helpful on the bottom line.
Living close to the ocean means a lot of clients want rides to or from the beach. No one wants to sit on wet seats, so I plan to have a large towel in the car in case my clients decide to drip dry after their fun in the sun.
Another item to purchase in bulk, having breath mints in the car is great for plenty of reasons. Your clients will tip you big time (hopefully) if you have these available!
You really don't want garbage to start piling up in your vehicle. Having a small garbage bin that your customers can see will help make sure they don't leave any trash in the back seat.
You obviously don't want the car to smell funky and having a pleasant scent will put the riders at ease, knowing you go the extra mile to keep the car smelling fresh. Just make sure the scent is not too overwhelming.
You never know when you may have a small mess to clean up in between picking up riders. Having a small vaccuum on hand is a great way to ensure a clean car throughout the day.
Make sure your clients know that they can tip you for having an extra clean car and great service!
I'd love to hear your suggestions for anything else I may have missed.
